  1. The development stage is the first stage in the filmmaking process. In this stage, the filmmaker comes up with an idea for a film and develops it into a storyboard/script
  2. The pre-production stage of filmmaking is when the director and producer work out the logistics of the film. This includes deciding on the cast, crew, locations, and other elements that will be involved in the production.
  3. One of the most important stages in filmmaking is the production stage. This is when the film is actually made and it is vital to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
  4. The post-production stage of filmmaking is when all the pieces of the puzzle come together. After the footage has been shot and edited, it’s time to add in the final touches that will bring the film to life.
  5. The distribution stage is when the film is sold to distributors, who decide when and how it is released, including the film’s genre, target audience, and box office potential.
