The workshop offers people the chance to practise their new skills through the development and production of their own stories.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
Story Development: Master the craft of storytelling by diversifying your tools in story development and creation, including character development and world building.
Sound and Lighting Basics: Explore the importance of sound and light, understanding how both are used to enhance visual storytelling, mood, and aesthetics.
Cinematography Pre-Production: Learn the importance of pre-production planning for camera work. Discover the importance of selecting specific shots to help build the world and its characters.
Multicamera Filmmaking: Understand multicamera filmmaking techniques often used in television broadcast and sitcom television. Practice your skills by filming the stories you’ve worked on throughout the workshop.
Crew Role Development: Engage and collaborate with your cast and crew. Learn which film roles are of interest to you and gain and understanding of how, these work together to create a project. Throughout the day, three different groups are given the opportunity to run their own film set.
