OUR CAMPUS

Situated in the heart of Brisbane's CBD, APAC has the city at its fingertips. Our campus facilities are purpose built, with industry standard equipment and technologies, paired with passionate academics to support you through your journey.

FAQS

YES, at APAC you will work on a diverse range of screen projects with our acting, and song & dance students. You will have a variety of footage to edit into a demo reel for potential employers to view.

The degree allows you to work on drama or comedy scenes, music videos, interviews and even creating a podcast.

You don’t have to have any existing skills – it can be helpful but they are not essential.  It’s your passion to create ideas and tell a story that we are looking for.  We teach the course from a beginners level for all aspects of production.

Building your network with like-minded people and meeting others that work in the screen industry is very important.  At APAC we enable you to attend industry events and talks.

Rather than 2 semesters per year over 3 years, our degrees have 3 trimesters per year over 2 years. Resulting in 6 trimesters overall.

At APAC we balance Academic Rigour with Professional Relevance.  The BSS is a ‘practice-led’ degree.  This means that, while academic and theoretical components are central to the learning journey to inform and underpin the practical, skills-based classes, the focus is developing performance and technical skills while developing a broader understanding of the cultural and professional context around those performance skills.
