The after-school weekly classes for young adults (grades 10-12) covers a range of content drawn from the Degree course content and includes elements of:


  • Audition for Screen and Stage
  • Screen Acting Technique
  • Improvisation for Rehearsal
  • Professional Script Analysis
  • Physical Character Development
  • Lecoq Essentials (where bad acting comes from and how to stop it)

School Holiday ACTING CAMP

The school holiday acting camp is for young adults (age 12 – 18). During the 3 fun-packed days, you will learn:  

  • Audition (Stranger Things here we come!)
  • Improvisation (just make it up!)
  • Creating character (think Mr G)
  • How to interpret a script (is it a comedy or drama?)
  • Taught by industry professionals


The school holiday Youtube camp is for young adults (ages 12 – 17).  During the 3 fun-packed days you will learn:

  • Filming techniques (Bring your own smartphone)
  • Clever lighting tips (lighting and studio setups)
  • Recording sound basics (can you hear me??)
  • Editing videos (Adobe Premiere studio)
  • Taught by industry professionals

About APAC

Australian Performing Arts Conservatory (APAC) has launched a brand-new, state of the art; training facility in Brisbane to train Actors, Film Makers and Song Performers.


With over 26 years of experience, this institution was founded by CEO Marcus Hogan. Marcus trained as an actor at the National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York, was awarded honours as a graduate at the Cornish Institue of Performing Arts and completed his master’s degree at Boston University’s performing arts school in Directing Film & Theatre.


After returning home, with a 100-year plan in mind, he set out to fill the gap in actor training in Australia. As a result, he has delivered on the first quarter and achieved the Bachelor Degree qualification levels for the first three performing arts courses, Acting, Filmmaking and Song Performance. The next three exciting NEW courses are under construction in never seen before bespoke areas – watch this space!


APAC has evolved into Australia’s first collaborative Performing Arts school and graduates who have gone on to successfully work in film, television, theatre, and Song Performance throughout the world.
