Meet the Minds Behind Filmmaking: Our Award-Winning Faculty
Heidi Gledhill, Queensland based award-winning theatre director and producer. As a lecturer at APAC, she brings a profound skillset to help students achieve their dreams. As the founder of Room to Play and former Artistic Director of renowned venues like The Crypt and The Substation, Heidi possesses an in-depth understanding of independent theatre production.
Her dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she actively supports the independent theatre scene, giving APAC students valuable connections and insights into the professional world.

- Brian Friel’s Afterplay
- Tom Holloway’s Red Sky Morning
- Dario Fo’s Mistero Buffo
- Lally Katz’s The Eisteddfod for Metro Arts Local Season
- The Bull, The Moon & the Coronet of Stars by Van Badham at Metro Arts
- Devised and directed I AM KING I AM QUEEN for Anywhere Festival, which toured to New Zealand and Sydney, winning Sydney Fringe Award and Brisbane Powerhouse Award.
- Translated and adapted The Virtuous Burglar by Dario Fo with students at APAC.
